HMS Heating & Air Conditioning sits in Krugerville, which shares a city limit line with Aubrey. Most days an Aubrey call is a five minute drive, not a slot on tomorrow's route. Gary Hays started the company in 2015 and kept it small on purpose, so the person who picks up the phone knows the streets you are describing.
Aubrey is really two towns at once. There are the older houses around the downtown strip on US 377, many of them still running equipment that was installed a couple of owners ago, and then there are the newer neighborhoods out toward Sandbrock Ranch and Winn Ridge where the systems are young but were sized by a builder in a hurry. Those two houses fail in completely different ways, and we approach them differently.

A number before we start. You hear what is wrong in plain English and what each option costs, and then you decide. Nothing gets added to the bill after the fact.
After hours calls get answered. Our posted hours are 8am to 5pm, but Aubrey is close enough that a night call in January is genuinely a night call, not a next morning call.
Any brand in the neighborhood. Trane, Carrier, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, Amana, American Standard, and Daikin all get serviced, including the builder units that filled the new sections.

We are based in Krugerville, right on the other side of the city limit, so Aubrey is usually the shortest drive on the board. On a normal weekday most Aubrey calls get handled same day, and an after hours emergency does not mean waiting for a truck to come up from Dallas.
My house is only three years old. Why does it already need work?
New does not always mean right. On a lot of production builds the equipment is fine but the duct is undersized, the return is too small, or the condensate line was run flat. That shows up as weak airflow, high humidity, or an upstairs that never catches up. We measure static pressure before we blame the equipment.
We are on an older place near downtown. Is it worth fixing or replacing?
Depends on three numbers: the age of the unit, the cost of this repair, and how many repairs it has needed lately. A twelve year old system with one bad capacitor is worth fixing. A twenty year old system on its third call this year usually is not, and we will show you the math rather than just quoting a new unit.
Do you do plumbing, or only heating and air?
Both. Water heaters, drain cleaning, and pipe repair all come from the same crew. For most Aubrey customers that is the whole point: one number to call instead of three.
Which brands do you service?
All the majors, including Trane, Carrier, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, Amana, American Standard, and Daikin. We are not tied to one manufacturer, so a recommendation is based on your house instead of a dealer quota.
Is financing available?
Yes, through our financing partner. You apply online, most people hear back quickly, and once you are approved we get on the schedule. The application is on our financing page.
Anything I should check before I call?
Three quick ones. Confirm the thermostat is set the way you think it is and the batteries are fresh, check whether the breaker tripped, and pull the filter out and look at it. A clogged filter causes more no cool calls than any part we carry. Still stuck, call (940) 222-9313.
