Duct cleaning gets sold door to door as a flat-rate special, and what turns up is often a shop vac and twenty minutes. A real cleaning starts by finding out whether the ducts are even your problem. We measure static pressure and look inside the returns and the supply trunk before quoting anything, because a filter that does not seal or a crushed flex run will keep making dust no matter how many times the ducts get vacuumed.

He earned his HVAC license in 2015 and built the company on a simple standard: explain the problem, lay out your options with prices, and only then pick up a tool. Walk the Attic Side
Every run traced from the plenum outward. We note where the dust is collecting and what is feeding it, which is usually one torn joint or a boot that shook loose.

Check the Filtration
A duct system only stays clean if the filter fits and seals. Gaps around the filter let unfiltered air past it every minute the blower runs.

Trunk, branches, and the blower compartment, with the system isolated. Then we seal the leaks that let the dirt in.

Airflow is measured at each register once the work is done, so the improvement is a figure you can hold against the one we started with.
Why Bother
What Clean Ducts Actually Change
Less dust everywhere. A leaking return pulls attic air into the system and spreads it through every room. Sealing that is what stops the dust, not the vacuuming on its own.
Airflow you can measure. Debris, crushed flex, and a filter that does not seal all restrict the system. Clearing them shows up in the static pressure numbers, not just as a cleaner duct.
Easier on the equipment. A blower fighting a restricted duct runs hotter and longer. You pay for that twice, once on the power bill and once in service life.
Fewer complaints from one room. When a single room is always dusty or always stuffy and the rest of the house is fine, the duct serving it is usually the reason.
An honest answer. Plenty of duct systems do not need cleaning. We would rather tell you that than sell you a service you will never notice.

Air Duct Cleaning Questions, Answered
How do I know if my ducts actually need cleaning?
Open a return grille and look. If there is a visible mat of dust on the inside of the duct rather than a film on the grille, it is worth doing. We check before quoting, and plenty of the systems we look at do not need it.
Does duct cleaning help with allergies?
It can, but sealing usually matters more than vacuuming. A leaking return pulls attic and crawlspace air into the system and spreads it through the house, so the dust comes straight back if the leak stays.
How long does a duct cleaning take?
Most single-system homes take three to four hours. Two systems or a house with long attic runs take longer, and we will tell you which one you have before we start rather than after.
Do you use chemicals or foggers in the ducts?
No. Sanitizing foggers are mostly marketing and some of them leave a residue in the airstream. We clean mechanically, with the system isolated so nothing gets pushed deeper into the house.
Why do my ducts get dirty again so fast?
Almost always a filter that does not seal or a return that leaks. If the filter slot has gaps around it, the system pulls unfiltered air past the filter every minute it runs, and no amount of cleaning keeps up with that.
Is duct cleaning worth it on a newer home?
Sometimes, and for a different reason. New construction leaves drywall dust and sawdust in the ducts, so a first cleaning after the house settles in is reasonable. After that, most newer systems do not need it often.
