Most of the town was framed between the mid 2000s and the early 2010s, which means the houses share a builder, a handful of floor plans, and very often the same equipment installed within the same few years. That is convenient right until the day it stops being convenient, because a whole street's worth of systems reaches the end of its service life at roughly the same time.
We are about five minutes up the road in Krugerville, so this is one of the closest places we work. HMS Heating & Air Conditioning has been in business since 2015 and stayed small on purpose. The tight lots and alley loaded garages here matter too, because a condenser boxed in by a fence and a side wall cannot breathe, and it loses capacity long before anyone calls it broken.
