Frisco has no shortage of HVAC companies. What it has less of is a small shop where the owner still runs calls. HMS Heating & Air Conditioning comes over from Krugerville, and we are deliberately not built to run six trucks through your neighborhood with a commission structure attached to each one.
Most Frisco homes we see went up between roughly 2000 and 2015, which puts a lot of original equipment right at the age where it starts asking for money. Two story floor plans with dual systems bring their own recurring headache: one zone that never matches the other. That is usually a duct and return problem, and it does not get fixed by buying a bigger unit.

Heat rises, and most two story Frisco homes were built with an upstairs return that is too small to move the air the system is trying to deliver. Add a hot attic and long flex duct runs and the upstairs system spends the afternoon losing. The fix is usually airflow work, not a bigger unit, and it costs a fraction as much.
My system is fifteen years old and still working. Should I get ahead of it?
Fifteen is the range where a plan starts being worth more than a gamble. If it is running efficiently, we would rather maintain it and let you replace on your own timeline than replace it now for no reason. If it is already losing capacity, waiting usually means paying more, in August, for whatever is on the truck.
Do you charge a fee just to come out and diagnose?
We are upfront about the diagnostic charge when you book, and it is quoted before we drive out. What we do not do is quote a low number to get in the door and build it back into the repair.
Can you service a tankless water heater?
Yes. Tankless units are common in newer Frisco homes and they need descaling on a schedule most homeowners were never told about. We service, flush, and replace them, along with standard tank heaters.
Do you work on every brand?

Is financing available on a two system replacement?

What is worth checking before I call?
