Krum was a quiet stop on US 380 not that long ago and now there are whole neighborhoods where there used to be pasture. That growth has left the town with two very different sets of homes: new construction where the systems are young and sometimes badly commissioned, and older places on the outskirts running equipment that has already earned its retirement.
We drive over from Krugerville regularly. HMS Heating & Air Conditioning has been in business since 2015 and stayed small, so the same people handle the new build with a humidity problem and the farmhouse with a furnace nobody has serviced since it was installed. The house is new but it feels humid inside. What is wrong?
