Copper Canyon, TX
Large Custom Homes and the Zoned Systems Inside Them
Located Just North of You
Serving Copper Canyon for 10+ Years
Copper Canyon is a quiet town of large lots and custom homes between Highland Village and Argyle, with tree cover, winding roads, and very little commercial development. Houses here tend to be big, and the HVAC behind them is more involved: two or three systems, zoning with motorized dampers, variable speed equipment, and thermostats that control more than one area of the house.
Those setups work well when everything is tuned, and they get confusing fast when one part fails. A stuck damper or a bad zone control board can look like a failed system. We trace the problem to the right part before replacing anything. We come from Krugerville, about twenty five minutes away. HMS Heating & Air Conditioning has been in business since 2015.

HMS deserves every one of these 5 star reviews! Andrew and Nate were super friendly, quick and easy to work with. They found the issue didn't push any extra products but did present all my options. I'll be calling them from now…
My experience with this team was great! From my initial call to scheduling someone to come out to the service provided, I will be using them again in the future. Andrew, the technician, was thorough in explaining the issues and the process…
I had the best experience with HMS. Their techs were respectful, professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I will only work with HMS moving forward.

Frequently Asked
Questions
What Copper Canyon homeowners ask us about zoned systems, multiple units, and big house comfort.
Still not sure, call our team (940) 222-9313Do you serve Copper Canyon?
Yes. It is roughly twenty five minutes from our Krugerville shop, and we schedule visits in the Highland Village and Argyle area regularly.
One zone is not heating or cooling. Is the system broken?
Often not. A stuck damper, a failed damper motor, or a thermostat issue can shut off one zone while the equipment runs fine. We check the zone controls first.
How often should a home with three systems be serviced?
Each system should get a tune up once a year, ideally cooling in spring and heating in fall. We can service them all in one visit to save you time.
Are variable speed systems worth the cost?
In large homes they often are, because they run longer at lower speeds, which evens out temperatures and removes more humidity. We will lay out the costs and the benefits for your house before you choose.
Can you run a gas line to an outdoor kitchen or fire pit?
Yes. We size and install gas lines for outdoor kitchens, fire features, and generators, and test them before they go into service.
Can we finance a large replacement?
Yes. Our financing partner offers an online application with a quick decision, and approved projects go on the schedule. Visit the financing page to apply.
Only part of the house is cool. What should I check?
Look at each thermostat to make sure it is set correctly and has power, then check the filters on every system. If one area still will not cool, call (940) 222-9313 and tell us which zone.
