A Small Town With a Neighbor Down the Road

One Town Over

Serving Lincoln Park for 10+ Years

Lincoln Park is one of the smallest towns in Denton County, a few hundred residents on quiet streets just south of US 380. Homes here were built across several decades, so one driveway might lead to a house with a ten year old heat pump and the next to one still running equipment from the 1990s. Many sit on larger lots, some are on septic, and a good share are all electric.

Our shop in Krugerville is close enough that a call from Lincoln Park is usually a short drive, not a trip. HMS Heating & Air Conditioning has been in business since 2015, and in a town this size most of our work comes from someone next door telling you about us.

Why Lincoln Park Calls Us

Close Enough to Know the Street

Veteran owned and state licensed. Gary Hays was a Marine Corps aviation electrician before he went into HVAC, and he holds Texas contractor license TACLA00065401C.

The price before the work. You hear what the repair costs and why it is needed before we pick up a tool. Nothing gets added once we are in the attic.

A short drive from the shop. Our regular hours run 8am to 5pm, with emergency calls taken around the clock. From Krugerville, Lincoln Park is one of our closest stops.

No brand loyalty to protect. We service Trane, Carrier, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, Amana, American Standard, and Daikin, so the advice fits your house, not a dealer quota.

A small town keeps us honest. When a town has a few hundred people, word of a bad job gets around fast. Read what customers say on our reviews page.

Frequently Asked

Questions

Questions we hear from Lincoln Park homeowners, from old heat pumps to septic friendly plumbing.

Still not sure, call our team (940) 222-9313
How quickly can you get to Lincoln Park?

Usually quickly. The town is only a few minutes from our Krugerville shop, so on most days we can fit you in the same day or the next morning. Call and we will give you a real window.

My house is all electric. Is a heat pump worth repairing or should I replace it?

It depends on the age and what failed. A bad capacitor or contactor on a newer unit is a simple fix. A failed compressor on a system near twenty years old usually is not worth the money, and we will tell you that plainly.

Why does my electric bill jump so much in January?

On a heat pump, cold mornings bring on the backup heat strips, and they draw a lot of power. If the strips are coming on when they should not, or the heat pump itself is weak, the bill climbs fast. We test both.

Will drain cleaning hurt my septic system?

No. Mechanical drain cleaning clears the line without chemicals, which is the safer choice for a septic tank anyway. We can also tell you when a slow drain points at the tank rather than the pipe.

Do you work on manufactured homes?

Yes. Manufactured homes use different furnaces and duct layouts than site built houses, often with ducts under the floor, and we service both.

Is financing available for a new system?

Yes. Our financing partner takes applications online and gives a quick decision, and once you are approved we schedule the install. Details are on the financing page.

My AC stopped cooling. What should I check first?

Look at the thermostat setting and batteries, the breaker for the outdoor unit, and the air filter. A clogged filter can freeze the coil and stop cooling completely. If those check out, call (940) 222-9313.
