Attic Systems in a Neighborhood Built All at Once
We're Just Minutes Away
Serving Paloma Creek for 10+ Years
Paloma Creek and Paloma Creek South were built out in waves from the mid 2000s on, as planned neighborhoods in unincorporated Denton County with their own HOA and utility district rather than a city hall. Most of the homes went up quickly, from a short list of builders, with the air handler or furnace set in the attic and the condenser on a pad beside the house.
That attic location is the thing we deal with most here. Summer attic heat is hard on equipment, the condensate drain and the pan under the unit are easy to forget, and in two story plans the upstairs often runs several degrees warmer than the rest of the house. We come from Krugerville, just a few minutes north and west. HMS Heating & Air Conditioning has been in business since 2015.

Why Paloma Creek Calls Us
Neighbors Who Work in Attics
Licensed and led by a veteran. Owner Gary Hays served as a Marine Corps aviation electrician, and the company works under Texas contractor license TACLA00065401C.
A quote you can read. We show you the problem, explain the fix in plain terms, and give you the price up front. If the repair is not worth it, we say so.
Minutes away, day or night. We are open 8am to 5pm for regular work and answer emergency calls 24/7. A water leak through an upstairs ceiling does not wait for business hours.
Any builder's equipment. Paloma Creek homes came with a mix of brands. We work on Trane, Carrier, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, Amana, American Standard, and Daikin.
Recommended across the neighborhood. In a planned community one good service call leads to the next house down. The reviews page has what customers wrote.

Service People Recommend
Straight from Google, word for word. People keep pointing to the same things: a quick visit and a clear explanation of the problem.
Very prompt and reliable. I appreciate the communication from the first contact through completion of the job. Andrew was very respectful, honest, knowledgeable, and efficient. Highly recommend!
HMS work was excellent. They took the time to determine where my house's problems were and fixed them. So much so that before their work my house was listed by my energy company as much worse than the average but now ranks…
Service techs were on-site within three hours of my call for assistance. The repair price was in line with regional standards, and the technicians were very helpful and nice to deal with. Would recommend this HVAC company for systems and repair.
HMS deserves every one of these 5 star reviews! Andrew and Nate were super friendly, quick and easy to work with. They found the issue didn't push any extra products but did present all my options. I'll be calling them from now…
We woke up to a freezing house today because our unit's fan wasn't turning on. We called HMS, and Michelle was so kind on the phone. She quickly dispatched a technician, who arrived within an hour. They identified the issue right away…

Frequently Asked
Questions
What Paloma Creek homeowners ask most, from attic drain pans to that hot upstairs bedroom.
Still not sure, call our team (940) 222-9313Do you service homes in Paloma Creek South too?
Yes, both Paloma Creek and Paloma Creek South. They are a few minutes from our shop, and same day visits are common.
Water is dripping from my ceiling under the attic unit. What is happening?
Usually the condensate drain is clogged and the pan under the air handler has filled. Shut the system off at the thermostat and call us. Clearing the drain and checking the safety switch is a quick job, and it stops a ceiling repair before it starts.
Why is my upstairs so much hotter than downstairs?
Heat rises, attic ducts gain heat, and many builder systems were sized for the whole house without much thought for the second floor. We check the duct sizing, the dampers, and the return air before suggesting anything bigger.
Our system is original to the house. Should we replace it now?
Not automatically. Plenty of fifteen year old systems still have years left with good maintenance. We will test it, tell you honestly where it stands, and give you a replacement price only if you ask for one.
Does the HOA need to approve a new outdoor unit?
Replacing a condenser in the same spot rarely needs approval, but rules vary, so check with your HOA if the location or size is changing. We can give you the equipment details they ask for.
Do you offer payment plans on a replacement?
We work with a financing partner that lets you apply online and hear back fast, and approved jobs go on the schedule right away. See the financing page to start.
The furnace runs but blows cold air. Anything I can try?
Make sure the thermostat is set to heat and the filter is clean, then check that the furnace switch in the attic or closet is on. If it still blows cold, the flame sensor or ignitor is a common culprit. Call (940) 222-9313.
